Our 2017 Productions
- Show Performance Group
Introducing our brand new Show Performance Group - NOW RECRUITING... Singers and Performers Required!
Launch date: Thursday 26th January, 7.30pm at Church Road Methodist Centre (Main Hall) and rehearsals will be once a week, every Thursday, from then.
The aim of the group is to build up a repertoire of songs to take ‘on tour’ in a concert format. Songs won’t be restricted to just musicals, but will cover a wide range of genres including chart music, Disney through the years and old favourites (with a couple of show tunes thrown in for good measure) – something for everyone!
We need lots of strong performers and new ideas! No auditions necessary - EVERYONE WELCOME! Any questions? Just pop us an email, click here!
- Avenue Q
We are holding OPEN AUDITIONS for our next musical Avenue Q!
Rehearsals are due to start Thursday 2nd February, 7.30pm (Church Road Methodist Centre - Back School Room) with performances taking place at the Lowther Pavilion Theatre from Wednesday 7th – Saturday 10th June 2017 at 7.30pm.
Sunday 12th February - from 12pm at Clifton Academy (15 St Albans Road, St Annes). Due to the level of interest we have had already, we are expecting a high turnout of auditionees.
Roles to be cast: Bad Idea Bears x 2 (1 Male, 1 Female), Brian, Christmas Eve, Gary Coleman, Kate Monster, Lucy, Nicky, Princeton, Rod and Trekkie Monster.
Audition pieces are all on Dropbox - including song and script. Want access? Please PM / email (firstname.lastname@example.org) us your email address and the names of the part(s) you are interested in auditioning for so you can view them. All audition pieces will be released to everyone at the same time in a couple of weeks time so as to remain completely fair to all auditionees.
There is a £20 Audition fee which must be paid on the Audition day. This will then be taken off the Annual Membership Subscription if you are cast. Auditionees must be aged 16+ (by show week) only.
All auditionees must also complete an audition and membership form by Thursday 9th February. These are also available on Dropbox and can either be printed off and passed to our committee at a rehearsal or emailed to email@example.com
There will be two Thursday rehearsals (chances to speak to our production team and go through the songs etc) before auditions. We would strongly advise everyone thinking of auditioning to attend these.

- Around the World in 80(ish) Minutes - A Musical Revue Show
We are really excited to introduce a second full scale production in September. This is something we hope to roll out annually and to have 2 large productions (June and September) per year. In this case, we are performing a Musical Revue – Songs from the Shows Around the World – starting in England with the likes of Half A Sixpence, Mary Poppins and Betty Blue Eyes and moving from country to country, performing songs from musicals in that region.
Rehearsals will start later 2017 and it promises to be a lot of fun!
We have been incredibly lucky to have been selected to perform the toe-tapping Irving Berlin spectacular 'Top Hat' in 2018!
Rehearsals will commence in October 2017 and we are performing from Wednesday 6th - Saturday 9th June 2018 at the Lowther Pavilion Theatre, Lytham St Annes.
